Allergic?

Has anyone ever had a baby allergic to something you are eating?  My little is allergic to strawberries.  We found out when she developed a bad rash.  Dr said it was an allergic reaction and we narrowed itndown to something Inwas eating consistently.  Figured out it was strawberries.  Dr said that it would like be something my little would grow out of.  
Anyone else experience this?  How long did it take for your little to grow out of it?

My son is lactose intolerant (not allergic thankfully). I figured it out while breastfeeding and how to cut out all diary from my diet the entire year I breastfed him. He’s 3 now and still lactose intolerant. I hope he grows out of it but it seems unlikely me to me.

My daughter is allergic to nuts and eggs and hasn't grown out of them. She is 3.  She is anaphylactic the some of them

Strawberries are a common allergy for young babies. Most will grow out of this specific allergy by age 5 (although not all will). Other, more serious allergies, like nuts (for one example) are less likely to be the type of allergy one grows out of.
