Can we do POI Injections without Synera patches?

My insurance is not covering for synera patches. Has someone done PIO without this and any tips are helpful

My doc said it was optional. My insurance also doesn’t cover it. Probably just be a bit more painful? I haven’t used them in the past

I dont have synera patches but have pio. If ur doc has prescribed it, you should ask him

I don’t know what those are but we didnt use any kind of patch. If you are doing the shot in the right place you rarely feel the needle going in. Just make sure skin is stretched really tight and go in quick like a dart!
