Herpes...

I tested positive for herpes... i tested positive to the IgM antibodies, which is the first antibody that fights the infection... I’m still waiting on the IgG antibodies result to know if I just recently caught this or not... (IgG antibodies take some time to develop and this helps distinguish between what type you got as well... type 1 or type 2)... I don’t know how to feel. I’m hurt. I would’ve never thought that this would happen to me. It makes me feel disgusting about myself. My partner states that he has no symptoms but that he shouldn’t have it because the prison STD-tested him and I’m not sure if they even do herpes testing since out here they don’t even do it (depends on dr) when you ask for std testing..... I’m sad. And I will forever feel like a burden.
