I’m sorry. That sucks. I can’t believe that someone let you down & got it to you that late. At that point they should have kept it. Mostly, if the egg hasn’t been fertilized in 24 hours, it’s done. But, on the hopeful side, how are you confirming ovulation? And to be sure I’m understanding, you’re doing home insemination? You might start looking at doing IUI at the doctor’s office. I know it’s more expensive but you might end up money ahead and also in a better place emotionally. It’s hard and it’s extra hard with the added stress of feeling like if you’re spending this money on sperm, it has to work. Plus, are you sure her tubes are clear?
I need yalls advice
Me and my wife have been ttc on and off for almost a year and it never seems to take but this last time of us trying, we got our sample in late and I was 2-3 days past ovulation. We used pre seed lubricant when we did our insemination. My question is has anyone else conceived after their ovulation date or did we just get our hopes up for nothing? I’ve read all about the statistics of conceiving that late but I want real first hand knowledge.
