After I gave birth to my daughter I found out I have Graves’ disease (hyperthyroidism). Recently I had surgery to get my thyroid removed. They ended up taking 2 out. I really thought everything went well.

I had my follow up with the surgeon today. I was so so happy due to it being my moms birthday, and we had lunch together, and she took me to my appointment (due to restrictions of the surgery). All my happiness just went into a deep depression when I was told I have thyroid cancer.

I’m just asking for prayers for myself, and my family. Completely devastated. Not at all what I was expecting from a good day.
