Is it true that when you’re pregnant your immune system weakens and it’s easier to get sick? I usually don’t get sick other than some bad colds and am worried it’ll be worse now that I’m pregnant. Any tips? Or if it was true or not true for you?

Yes it is true. It is very easy to get sick and it lasts much longer. Washing hands is about the only real thing you can do to prevent it. Prenatals has vitamin C and zinc to help in that department. You can also eat foods high in vitamin C and zinc to help even more. ￼

Yes, this is true. It also takes longer to recover as well. Get your flu shot, eat healthy, stay hydrated, wash your hands often, and try to stay away from people who have a cough, runny nose, sore throat, or other cold/flu symptoms.

Yes it is. Do your best to avoid highly public places during peak cold and flu season. I am a bus driver so with my last pregnancy i was sick with colds ba k to back until i went on maternity leave. This pregnancy i caught the flu at 8 weeks and ended up in the hosptial i dont usually get sick. Wash your hands constantly.
