Itchiness?

So I shaved for the first time everywhere around my private and I didn’t cut myself once surprisingly, but why am I itchy through out the day? It’s very uncomfortable. I would never be itchy before I started shaving there. What should I do to stop the itchiness?! 😣

That’s very normal for shaving in that area. Your skin is irritated because that hair is more corse. Unfortunately it’s going to do that u til the hair pokes back through. You can help ease the itch by using witch hazel. Just put some on a cotton ball and dab where it itches. Also using a new razor every time you save down there will help it not be so irritated. Ingrown hairs are an issue down there as well so watch out for those
