I'm meeting with our potential daycare tomorrow morning. Does anyone have any suggestions on what questions to ask? Thanks in advance 🤗

Not questions necessarily but how clean are the kids and rooms? Are the kids happy to see the adults coming and going? I'm guessing you scheduled a tour...I am not a fan of scheduled tours because I feel like they prep for it and it's not a true picture. I would ask to see all rooms assuming LO will be going through them.
Ask about your food responsibility (we provide lunches for my toddler. Our daycare provides snacks...but for infants we provide everything)  ask what activities they do (they should have things they do, even with infants) if theres outdoor area even for infants (ours the kids start going out as soon as they can walk, even when in infant room) medication policies (i.e. mine wont medicate unless a note is from dr) nap policies, etc.
Go with your gut. I went to one place while looking for my son and they made us schedule (my first flag) and then they couldn't even get my son's name right even though it was written on a post it note. I didnt like how the rooms were set up, either. It just didnt FEEL right.  Where both kids are at now the kids were all clean, happy, and comfortable enough to say hi to adults and the director remembered my son's name after being told once (we did 2 tours there, one I did and then I took my husband through)  it felt right and I couldn't be happier there and I know my kids are genuinely loved there.

I work in a daycare and LO comes too. A few of the things I would ask are ; how long have the workers in the infant room worked there. How do they clean up at the end of the day. Has their been any recent outbreaks. (We just went through a huge hand foot and mouth break out over 10 kids and 2 babies got it.) what do you need to bring. How do they change a diaper (we must wear gloves, and must bleach the changing table and then wash it with soap and water in between each kid) Will you follow my rules exactly? What’s the max kids a day typically & how many teachers are there at all time. How often do they clean toys

I’m a complete nut bag about safe sleeping so I asked if they fell asleep in a swing, bouncer, etc would they move them immediately to a bed. Policy on bringing in and labeling bottles or breastmilk bags, will they take frozen breastmilk (if breastfeeding), what’s the turnover rate of workers, will your child always have the same helpers (or daycare sometimes rotates support teachers for the older kids but not infants). I also ask about safety things - my daughters’ daycare does fire drills very often so I was happy to hear that.
