Don’t even know what to think about this 🙄

While my bf was in basic training, I spent almost $1,000 from my college funds to fly from Texas to Georgia (where he was at), book the hotel, and to lyft/Uber around because I didn’t have my car. He begged me to go and said he’d pay for everything- which he didn’t but I don’t care. I hadn’t seen him, I missed him so much all I wanted to do was spend time with him.

Now he’s back, I’m in college 1.5 hours away from our hometown. He’s planning on visiting this weekend but since it’s a holiday, hotel prices went up. He’s complaining about having to spend $300 on a hotel for the weekend yet he gets paid again next week 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s just so crazy to me how to me, $1,000 was worth it, even if it meant I’d probably be short on college fees (luckily my parents helped me with books). Not to mention the fact that I had put my 2 weeks notice in already. That was literally my last paycheck. I’m disappointed and a bit heartbroken, but I don’t want to bring this up and start a fight. He just got back, I just wish I could see him.

P.S. Me going over there is not an option because I’m in a military program myself and we have a march-in on Saturday morning.
