"Because this is our son"

We have had 2 miscarriages and then a chemical pregnancy. We're only in our 20's so it hit us really hard to have so many fertility issues so early on. So now we have a 5 mo old dachshund chihuahua mix and I was laying down cuddling him when my boyfriend came in and said "do you think we have him because we want kids but can't have them yet?" And I teared up and just held him tighter. Then he said "but he's our son now, our little family" it was so sweet I couldn't handle it 💕
