Can anyone tell me what this means? This was my first pap test

They called and said I needed to reschedule an appointment next year, instead of waiting 3 years. The results say: 
Final Diagnosis Cervical Cytology: Satisfactory for evaluation; endocervical component present. Low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion

I also had this 2 times. It means there’s a questionable area of cells on ur cervix, but it’s fairly low risk- they may just wait and repeat your pap later to see if it clears in its own (mine have gone away on their own both times, about 10 years apart). I had colposcopies done both times, where they took a tiny tissue sample to analyze it, and it came back that it was nothing dangerous. It just happens sometimes.

I had the same results last year. It’s basically the stage before HPV, and it typically goes away on it’s own because its weak enough for your body to fight it off. I got mine redone this year & it was gone.

Well the fact that they are waiting a year to recheck u should be a sign that it’s nothing serious. If it were they’d have u come in now. Try not to stress(easier said than done I’m sure😬)

I had that when I had HPV. Don’t stress just yet. Mine cleared on its own. Wait until the doctor explains the results to you.
