Ttc after BC?

So realistically, how long after I stop birth control would I be able to conceive? I just want it to keep it in mind so I don’t feel disappointed when I get negatives. I already had one whole month with a regular 5 day period but then I skipped a period on the month of September. I’ve been tracking my ovulation and I didn’t ovulate that month, but I seem to have ovulated last week. We didn’t get a chance to BD during my fertile window (work reasons) but we definitely aren’t using protection any other time. I’m not expecting a positive this time around but maybe next month if it’s possible.
