What I’ve heard about them it doesn’t sit right with me and I feel like some of them are free loaders and no good.

I’m sure he would appreciate it. I don’t like my boyfriend friends, but I still made the effort to meet them. It was something that was important to him. No one is asking you to be friends with them, I’m sure he just wants all the people that matter to him in one room. And who knows, maybe you all will get along.

Honestly for me it's not weird. I'm not a super social person and I trust my SO when it comes to who they hang out with. If he really really wanted me to I would be really hesitant but probably go. Just make it a small quick outing so I wouldnt get overwhelmed etc. Like going to the movies or something.
