Really bad diaper rash !?

This is the first time I’ve ever dealt with diaper rash, my baby is 4 weeks old and it started 6 days ago. The actual rash itself has gone away but then he has these blister looking things on his bum that have been there for about 5 days, they have gotten worse but now I feel like they’re getting a little better.
I’ve been letting him air out with no diaper for 20 minutes every changing, changing him at least every 2 hours, putting diaper ointment on it, and wiping with a warm wet washcloth. 
It still isn’t getting much better and I’m very worried at this point....

You should schedule an appointment with his doctor since those appear to be open wounds. You don’t want him to get an infection.

Go to dollar tree and buy antifungal ointment. It's strange but it works! It is a yeast infection and the antifungal kills it and treatd it so fast!

Poor little thing 🙁 put some Vaseline on those spots that are open and keep it open to air as much as possible. Make sure baby’s bum is dry before you put the diaper on (fan it with the diaper until dry)

If your babies skin starts to have open wounds as earlier suggested, take him to the doctors and they can prescribe a healing antibiotic ointment. If they're not bleeding or open I used aquaphor diaper rash/baby lotion. I put it on thick after every diaper change and it took awhile but it did get better. The lotion is quite expensive but definitely worth it and you can use it for super dry skin aswell. The lotion is almost like vasaline and will help your little one be more comfortable and you don't need to use it after his rash gets better. This helped me but every baby is different, you could try different creams like desitin, vasaline, or switching to sensitive skin wipes. I found out that it was the wipes that we were using, and if you baby only urinates and you change his diaper just pat him dry with the wipe, it doesn't need to be wiped perfectly clean because that can irritate the rash. Give him a bath every few days to make sure hes getting nice and clean down there. Hope this helps! 💜

Take him to the doctors. That’s more than a nappy rash, I wouldn’t risk the infection. If you can try and leave his nappy off or if you can makeshift a cloth nappy out of towelling this will be more cooling for babies bum until you get seen!

Any chance you are using pampers?  My son had a consistent rash with them even with thick diaper cream and regular diaper changes.  We realized the mesh in the pampers was sticking to his skin even if diaper had just been put on.  In Huggies now and no rashes since.  Even if you’re not using pampers, may be worth trying a different brand.  Good luck!

I would take him to the doctor honey, that looks very raw. I'd worry about it getting infected.
