Red raspberry tea to speed up labor?

I just got mine in today and I’m gonna start drinking it. It’s supposed to help your uterus and make for an easier and quicker labor. I guess we will see!

It doesn't induce labor. Red raspberry leaf tea is used to strengthen the uterus, and is recommended to start drinking daily around 28 weeks to be effective.

I’ve been drinking it for about 7 years. I drank it all trimesters throughout both pregnancies. Rrlt doesn’t induce. It strengthens the uterus so that contractions are effective during labor. You get the best benefits from long term use, so starting at the beginning of pregnancy if not before. It also helps regulate hormones and if continued to drink after birth it can help with recovery. My first I had at 41+1 ( had a sweep the day before), labor was 14 hrs, pushed for maybe 20 min. Contractions were very effective. 2nd I had at 41+1 as well (was induced) 4 hr labor, push time maybe 5 min.

With my first, I started drinking it around 30 weeks (was so hard to find where I lived). I ended up being induced at 39 weeks but my whole labour went for 4 hours, including 45 minutes pushing. My labour was super easy except for the fact my son had his arm up by his head and hadn’t turned all the way but other than that, it was a great experience. Not sure if it actually did help with labour but I’m drinking it again now (31 weeks) and not being induced this time (at this stage anyway) so will see how this labour goes 😊
