Slowing fundal height?

Question

Anyone have a slowing fundal height?  At 23 weeks, my fundal height was 2 cm ahead.  At 27 weeks, it was 1 cm ahead.  Today at 29 weeks, it was 0.5 cm behind.  Doc said she isn’t worried as long as it is in normal range because baby’s positioning can really effect things, so I’m trying not to worry, but it’s hard not to (especially since my weight gain has been slowing down as well).  Baby was 85th percentile at their anatomy scan, so I’m glad they’re not likely exploding in size, but I also hope he’s still growing well!
Anyone else with a similar experience?

I had a apt today with a different doctor bc my family doctors was off and usually my doctor won’t tell me the measurement but today he did and I’m only measuring 26cm at 31 weeks 😳 he gave me form to make a ultrasound appointment

Don't worry about it. My midwife said that as long as it's within a few cm, it's nothing to worry about. Baby's position can impact it, too.

I measured 26 at my 28wk appt. I go back today (30wks), my OB said if I’m measuring behind again then I’ll have to get an ultrasound to check on our little girl. I always measured small with my first baby as well... and she was big for her age (5lbs 3oz at 34wks).

I had this problem with my first pregnancy. One dr measured one week, another dr the next. When she said he didn’t grow, I was a mess for a week. The next week, the first dr measured and didn’t have any concerns. I asked if he was back on track growing. He said “don’t get caught up in the numbers, it’s all subjective.” I spent a week worrying over nothing. I’m now at a new practice, 32 weeks, and only the midwife has ever measured me once 🤷🏼‍♀️
