I’m nearly 36 weeks pregnant and have recently been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Made a huge mistake of googling gestational diabetes babies in google images to get an idea of what a “big baby” might look like size wise and got pictures of 15lbs babies which seems really extreme. Wondered if any mums out there had given birth after being diagnosed with gestational diabetes and what their experiences were with baby’s weight. At my last scan my baby was apparently weighing 6lbs (at 34 weeks) but I know scans can be inaccurate.
