Forex.. what are your thoughts?

This post is being made because someone asked me to join forex and I’m going to refrain from putting my personal opinion out there but I wanted to know what everyone else thought about it

Basically you pay to become a trader. You also recruit people for money..

Apparently there are a lot of forex broker scams out there. 
Just from the description you've given of this particular set up, it sounds like whatever your friend is in is a scam.

Trading currencies and commodities are a thing... I'd do it individually not with a company smells a little MLM-y

while trading currencies can make you money, this company seems like an MLM. anything that makes you pag monthly/recruit others is sketchy to me

It’s not a scam, my boyfriend does it. It does take a little bit to catch on to, but he’s almost to the point where he can quit his normal 9-5.

I know people say it’s not a scam but it really seems like it is especially with how many traders. They say they make a lot of money also but then complain about how they’re always broke.
