When to Resume intercourse

I had a D&C October 2 when is it okay to start back having intercourse?

I was told to wait 2 weeks (and as long has bleeding stopped). Also was told no swimming, no baths, no tampons. It's because the cervix may still be open and you don't want to introduce any foreign objects that can cause infection.

Your doctor should tell you don’t listen to anybody on here if it’s OK to start having intercourse again. Usually after a D&C you should wait up to four weeks￼

I just had a D and C on Tuesday 10-8 and they said 1 week we can resume.

I was told to wait until bleeding stopped from mine but I passed everything on my own and didn’t have a d&c but I had a pelvic mean to get the clots out. He said once the bleeding stopped I was fine to resume sex. It hurt my first time since miscarriage but I used lube the last time and it was much better. Just take it slow that’s what I’ve learned. I’m still sore so don’t be worried if it hurts a bit.
