Baby acne, rash or allergy ???

Question

Hi y’all I’m a first time mom and I’m freaking out. My baby girl got these red little bumps on her face & around the ear area a couple day’s ago. I’ve noticed now too it’s on her neck, diaper area and legs. 
the bumps on her face flare up more when she cries. Have any mamas gone through this or is this normal? She has her DR. App scheduled already in 2 days. I just want opinions and input

Our daughter has the exact same and we were told baby acne as well — but it’s not. It’s actually a rash. We ended up washing all her stuff in just super hot water/sanitary cycle - wiping her face with a wash cloth at night.
Pediatrician looked at it a second time and said she thinks it’s a rash — I forget the name but they said the babies will outgrow it!
I suggest trying without detergent like we did, in case it’s that — but if that doesn’t help it’s probably the rash and in that case we just have to let it run it’s course. Our daughters seemed to flare up then “get better” and then randomly flare up again. Right now though after a couple weeks her skin looks awesome! ❤️

My baby had the same thing and I order the Tubby Todd all over ointment and it was gone after using for 3 days.

Looks like baby acne but could also possibly be a milk allergy. We just had a doctors appt on Friday and we were told little man has a milk allergy, and since I’m breast feeding this momma gets to change her whole diet. I would bring that up at your next doctors appt! 😊

My baby has the same thing he just got it a couple days ago as well but he just got them on his face.

My son's baby acne looked just like that, but was probably even worse at some point. I don't remember red blotching like that though, are you sure they are related? Perhaps they come up from crying acne or not?

My 6 week old has the same thing.  We were told it’s baby acne and to use Aquaphor and Cetaphil by our pediatrician.  Heartbreaking to look at her skin like this.  We keep her hands covers too to make sure she doesn’t touch it.

My 6 week old has the exact same thing! I scheduled an appt on Monday with his dr, but in the mean time, I've been applying Aquaphor to his face because it is extremely dry. It has helped so much, but he's still red and bumpy :(

My son is 5 weeks with the same thing. His doctor told us at his appointment that he has Neonatal Acne and it will clear on its own
