How to know if the app is accurate??

Question

This is my second month really tracking my ovulation week, so I’m trying to see if the day the app says is really accurate. I did the baby dance with my husband yesterday, the app says I ovulate today. I’m experiencing cramping and lower back pain. Is this a sign of my egg actually being released today? Or could today still just be a “fertile” day ?

Cramping can happen before during or after actual ovulation. You cant use that. Use opks or bbt to track when you ovulate
