Squishing the baby while laying on the side?

When you’re laying down on your side or while sleeping on your side... and your baby is kicking under the side of your belly that you’re laying on, do you move? Or just let the baby kick?

I move because I think she’s trying to tell me I’m squishing her or not giving her enough room.
