Vaginal ring is causing me acne ??

I’ve been using NuvaRing (vaginal ring) as an anti-conceptive method For 2 weeks, mainly because I suffer a lot of acne and I’ve been told that it can reduce it. It hasn’t reduce it at all but it has also went worse than before. Can somebody tell me if it is normal? Does vaginal rings cause acne as well? Is it that I have to wait longer to see some results ?

I’ve also experienced voice changes, a lot of hair growth and my skin is a mess... I wonder if it is just me going paranoid or it’s the hormones that are messing with my body

Everyone reacts to it differently. For me, yes my Nuvaring did control and make my acne disappear. I barely had any to begin with, but for you, could just be one of those things where you're different. It doesn't have the same benefits for everyone because we're all different.

hormonal birth control is different for everyone, but I had some skin irritation while on it as well. I finally had to give the ring up after 4 months because it made me gain weight, I was moody, irritable, feeling withdrawn and depressed, my boobs always hurt, and it killed my sex drive. Three days after taking it out I felt human again
