Spotting

Hey ladies, this is my first pregnancy and I’m so scared I’m going to miscarry. I’m about 12 weeks. And I had an appointment Thursday which I had a pelvic exam. Next day I spot during the morning and right before I go to bed I notice it’s more pink/red so I go to the er they check the baby everything seems to be ok baby heartbeat is at 176, they do another pelvic exam and they say everything seems ok but my cervix is inflamed. They put me on pelvic rest but today I just started spotting again tonight and it’s reddish not a lot just when I wipe I noticed it. And a mild sharp pain not cramping and a little lower. I’m just nervous has anyone had this happen?
