Whats this?

So I have had these before and sometimes they will go away but other times they will become so painful that i have to pop (which has been partially done tonight). They dont seem like normal pimples though. What are they and how do i treat them? (Btw right now i am putting a warm wet cloth on them). The one that looks biggest and that has a dark red spot is the one i popped, so it looks the worst but then again it is the worst. These are under my arms where my bra straps would usually be.
