If you breastfed, when did your milk come in?

My milk came in at day 10. I did use formula in the early days but that's because my hospital wouldn't let me leave until I agreed to formula feed (because my son wouldn't latch in the position they demanded I BF in, he latched fine in other positions but they didnt want me using those positions). Annoyed at myself for giving in but they made me feel like I had no choice.

It took 5 days for my milk to come in. I had to supplement with formula

Mine came in pretty quickly but I have two close friends whose milks took 6&7 days respectively

2 days. It came in furiously too. Like rocks that leaked the whole time. Bulging from every bra. So be prepared

My son was Combs positive. Long story short he had to have formula to properly digest things ASAP. No milk wouldn’t cut it for his health. But eventually with pumping sessions in between nursing sessions and all of that it came in fully and I am at 20 months still breastfeeding. Good luck

Mine came in a couple months  before I had my son. I was a lucky one. my Obgyn had always said.
