Ok so I’m not sure if I’m going to describe this pain in words they way I actually feel it but I’ll try my best. I’m also not sure if this is normal, if few to none have similar pain or if it happens to every woman.

Each month when I get my period I get this shooting pain in my anus (weird I know). It’s not constant. But it happens at least once during my period. Mostly when I have a tampon in, but it also happens sometimes when I’m just wearing a pad. It’s such a sharp pain, if I’m sitting down it will almost make me stand up, and if I’m standing up I have to stop what I’m doing until it stops. The pain only lasts for about 2-4 seconds. On a scale of 1-10 how painful it is. It’s about a 6.

I’ve had this happen to me every menstrual cycle for as long as I can remember.. never told anyone about it until now (except my current boyfriend who I’ve only told recently). I know yous ain’t doctors, but what I’m asking is, does anyone else have this? Do yous know what it is? Is this even normal?
