Why is he acting like this now?

I’ve been hanging out with this one dude from work for a few months now. Although I’ve met all his friends and hang out with him all the time, it’s been a confusing few months as to not knowing exactly what he wanted.

Well a few weeks ago I noticed his attitude changed towards me. He started texting me all the time, being super flirty, hanging out more. A few nights ago he even mentioned he hasn’t been confusing for the past 2 weeks. Then he mentioned something about building trust because if you don’t have trust in the beginning of a relationship there’s no point. We hung out for the next few days. Last night we had a good night and even cuddled and kissed me goodbye. Today I’ve been texting him. He wanted me to come over but he said he was too lazy and tired so I didn’t. He then was kinda making fun of me for something I said the other night when I was drunk and kept joking around. I told him he was stressing me out (in a joking way). He then told me “welllll bye”. I asked him why he was saying that and he literally said nothing. I mentioned something about the trust thing too like 20 mins prior and he acknowledged it. I’ll see him tomorrow but I think I’m just scared he’s going to go back to being confusing and the way he was before. I know he goes to sleep soon so maybe it’s that ? We also have plans for this weekend with friends and he’s been wanting to go. I just know things have been going so good and I’m scared it won’t anymore. Maybe I’m overthinking it too much ???
