Forgive me...

I am very uneducated on the social issues. I have noticed recently that there are many many many identities. And I want to understand.

I have a dear friend who is struggling with her identity and it’s not something I have ever struggled with. Born female and never questioned it.

I just don’t understand what she is going through or how I can best help her.

I have a few questions, what are all the gender titles of today? What do they mean? Why are there so many? How can I best be there for my friend?

I am not in any way trying to push my beliefs on her and I want to make that clear. I just want to be the best friend for her that I can during this hard time. Beliefs aside, I care very much for her and want her to know that she lean on me.
