Metformin AND Insositol?
Earlier, I was prescribed Metformin ER at 1000 mg daily, yet for the past week I’ve been taking Myo & D-Chiro Inositol (40:1 ratio) at 2000 mg daily. Does anyone else take both Metformin and Inositol together? If so, should I lower the amount of Inositol? I would have asked my doctor but she admitted she knew nothing of the supplement, thus she wrote it off and insisted I continue Metformin.
