We have been TTC for almost 3 years.

2015 laparoscopy to remove endo and uterine fibroids

2017 Surgery to remove uterine polyps

2017-2018 3 rounds of Femara/ovidrel with

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>

, all unsuccessful.

We pretty much used our savings all up and racked up our credit cards for all this so couldn’t continue. I was also not in a healthy place mentally or physically otherwise and had two non fertility related surgeries during this time too.

We’ve taken a break for about a year (not preventing but not trying) and I happened to become pregnant the cycle before this one. I had a chemical which I’ve had several of so doc put me on progesterone and offered to add Clomid this cycle. I ovulate pretty consistently (though sporadic times throughout cycle) and miss an ovulation probably once every 3-4 months.

I’m ovulating on my own the majority of the time but obviously something isn’t working because it’s been three years with no success. I am ok with taking Clomid and we have discussed the possibility of twins but the chance of triplets or more is terrifying to us financially. I’m going back and forth because I ovulate on my own so it def enhances the risk, but obviously even ovulating on my own it hasn’t been successful to this point. Do you feel that the pros outweigh the risks? He does not do monitored cycles as he is jsut a general OBGYN. I know deep down my issue is probably with implantation and maybe this will enhance the quality of my eggs, but I still second guess my self.
