So it’s my boyfriend’s birthday next Friday 10/25 . I know this is going to sound so so selfish. But I’m planning to end things with him, I just feel like we’re better off as friends not really compatible for the long run, I just feel so horrible doing it a a week before his birthday. But I don’t want to string him a long.

I am seeing him this Thursday, do you think I should end it then, I just know he mostly won’t see it coming and he will be heartbroken.

I just don’t even know what to say, I feel horrible doing it right now, but I don’t want to drag him a long, and right before his birthday, and maybe I could take him out for lunch on his birthday just as friends if he wants to.
