Hi, just found a lump in my left breast and after the consultant checked it and ultrasound, they are suggesting to have a core needle biopsy done with local anaesthesia. I am currently 38w1d and they are saying to do it before baby comes as the milk ducts post delivery etc can make the procedure much more complicated later and less accurate.Anyone been through similar situation? What did you do and was baby ok? I'm just worried to hv the injection..this is my rainbow baby and we are so close.
