I’ve never reupholstered anything before

My husband and I just bought our first home and don’t have the extra funds to buy new furniture yet

He’s away at work so I wanted him to come home and love what we have until we can replace it

I’m proud of myself!

This is the before(I know we need an area rug)

The chairs were stained beyond what could be cleaned (the whole set has been in storage for the past 4 years)

The table top is atrocious and we don’t have the means right now to strip it, sand it and re stain or paint it (again a little pricey and out of budget for right now)

Here’s the result!!!

I chose this fabric to be cohesive with the living room pillows because the entire space (living room-kitchen seating area- formal dining room) is open concept!

And please don’t judge on the background 😂

Still have some finishing up to do! lol we just moved into the house, what can I say! (An 85 inch tv will be mounted on the wall in the next two months... yes it’s taking priority over new furniture 😂😂)

I finished (except for placemats!)

And I ended up moving it for now, since we don’t have a formal dining table and the space was empty. (I fixed it since taking the first pic so it’s not crooked lol)

JK had to finish completely
