Shes either crying because shes over tired and then will not calm down enough to get to sleep on time, so she usually ends up missing a whole nap til her next feed, then she will finally slee after the feed because shes so exhausted

I finally get her all swaddled and tired and peaceful in her bassinet ready to go to sleep but she will just lay there staring at things, or she will keep trying to wriggle free of the swaddle and blankets. I know shes tired because she keeps yawning and if I stroke her forehead she will close her eyes and slowly drift but then as soon as shes about to be asleep she will move and wake up again

No its not the startle reflex because shes swaddled and shes not flinching shes just tensing up and wriggling her legs and arms and moving her head.

She genuinely just doesnt want to sleep it's so annoying because it winds up with a crying overtired baby and me who cant do anything because shes missed a nap and needs another feed and then she will be wide awake again 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ this kid has so much energy its not funny
