Am i in too deep? Was it wrong of me to marry him

Well. Originally I met a guy that’s from Brazil. We were taking college courses together and became close on a friendship level. Out of fear that he wouldn’t be able to stay in the country we decided to move in together and get married. We started out staying in separate rooms but eventually we started sleeping in the same bed and getting to know each other even better. We’ve been married for a little over a year and I think I’m falling in love with him. This started as a stupid idea to help a friend gain citizenship, but now I’m in love with him. How do I tell him?
