Should my husband and I find out the gender before or during a gender reveal with family?

The envelope with the gender is sitting on my counter and it’s killing me! Today is Tuesday and my gender reveals supposed to be Saturday with our parents and siblings. If we find out before we might just tell everyone in person rather than do a gender reveal...What should we do??

If you plan on that type of party than save it for when y more with everyone but honestly gender reveals are new and I think they are somewhat stupid with all the other planning going on so we didn’t do one it was still fun to tell people over social media/in person

We did a gender reveal with our first. Then we found out together for our second. Then has a small gender reveal just for our parents to let them know.

I’d give it to a friend for safe keeping. I know I’m so impatient that my plan is for my friend to come with for the ultrasound and be given/told the gender so she can help plan any big reveal we want.
