I went in Sunday October 6 at 530pm after supposed to be going in that Tuesday before but that’s ok. The gave me cervidil (however it’s spelled) to soften the cervix and you know start labor. That was at 715pm. However nothing happened I was still 1 1/2 cm dilated which at that point they started me on Pitocin at about 8ish that morning. I laid in the bed on the hospital room for hours. Needless to say I was able to start pushing about 9ish that evening. My daughter was born at 10:20pm on October 7th. She was 7lbs 9oz and 19.5in. She was so alert when born she didn’t cry until they made her cry. Her eyes were wide open and just staring right at me. I know babies can’t see that far but it was amazing to see. She is my rainbow baby and I’m still in awe over her. She has been on this earth for 9’days and I love her more and more each day.
