So to start off, I grew up Catholic. I went to a Catholic school and occasionally went to church. I've been confirmed. I grew up with my mom's side of the family teaching me the Catholic faith. Well, since I've started to become an adult (17-18+, I'm 20) I've been feeling a little conflicted. I don't really know if I believe what they teach. It's so hard to try to separate what I believe and what I was taught. When I was a kid I just blindly followed what was said, but now that I'm older I can understand it more and... I don't know. I just feel like there's so many mixed emotions going on and I don't know what to do. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could give any advice about how to figure out what I believe without my childhood teachings interfering. Please help, I'm desperate.
