How long after birth did you leave the house ?

Hey 👋🏽 everyone how long did some of you wait till you left the house with baby and or your self? I waited a month or more with my first born 8 years ago

The day after I came home from the hospital, so three days after birth.

Whenever you are ready to be up and about, you and baby can go out. 
With my first it was barely at all for several weeks. After my second I felt a lot better so we went out a lot more.

Only to her appointments, then to church

I went shopping with my LO when he was 4 days old. I was in town for his appointment and we needed groceries 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think I was 6 weeks pp when I left the house on my own with our first. He was also a February baby in the height of influenza season, so I didn’t mind waiting.

My baby was in the nicu so I was up and about and everywhere within hours of birth.  We stopped at target on the way home from the nicu.
