When did your baby sleep through the night?

At how many weeks did you all start letting your baby sleep longer at night? My baby is almost a month old and I'm still waking her up to feed about every 3 hours - mostly because she needs a diaper change very often and she never cries when her diaper is dirty. She's gained a good amount of weight, and the pediatrician said it was okay to let her sleep longer, but I feel weird about it.

Whenever they’ve reached their birth weight and as long as they continue to gain. Do yourself a favor and get overnight diapers now so you don’t have to worry about pee at least, no point waking to change a pee diaper. I know it’s hard, we feel like we have to do things “by the book”, but seriously do both yourselves a favor and let baby sleep as long as they want. They wake up when they are hungry.

It’s good to change dirty diapers as an as possible but if it’s just wet, I’d let the baby sleep. If the pediatrician is happy with the weight gain then your baby probably doesn’t need to be woken up to eat. They normally will wake when they’re ready.

We never woke our son. Most peds say you can stop once they reach their birthweight.
