Ultrasound while on my period anyone else??😭😢

we’re doing ivf and I called today because i got my period and they want me to go in tomorrow to check my ovaries after egg retrieval and check my uterus and also start me on meds for the embryo transfer in 2 weeks but my period is so heavy after egg retrieval and I’m so nervous to go to the doctors and have the doctor see my vagina all bloody 😕 anything you guys recommend to help it not be so bloody when she actually does the vaginal ultrasound?

Just wait till you have a baby coming out of your vagina. Its bloody, messy and hairy. 😐 so being on your period for an ultrasound is nothing to them. Theyve seen it before and they dont even bat an eye.
Since dealing with my infertility all modesty has gone out the window.

Honestly, it is what it is. They get in and out so quick then you can just clean yourself up after. They see women ALL THE TIME on their periods. I have gotten 5 ultrasounds so far while bleeding (fairly heavy on cycle day 3 for me)  they don't even bat an eye at it.

They don't care.  Go so you can get this process started.  Tell them, and they'll just put an extra pad on the table in case you are actively bleeding.

I’ve had a vaginal ultrasound while bleeding. They put some towels down for me and really didn’t care. They see so much worse in a daily basis.

I had a vaginal ultrasound during a very active miscarriage. The didn’t care one bit about all the blood. There was lots. You just have to remember they are used to it

I cant recommend anything other than don't worry they have seen hella scarier things than blood trust me just watch reddit Gyno horror stories on YouTube you'll feel way better! Seeing blood is nothing to them!

They respect your dignity so much. Don’t even sweat it. They will be using a probe cover, gloves and towels. You will also be given wash cloths to clean up with.

They do not care.  I aways use my ziggy disc because I do not like being all bloody and sticky. But no matter what they are going to see blood and they see it all the time
