I’m 21 and my boyfriend is about to turn 38. We met at work and we’ve been dating for almost 4 months now. I’m in my senior year of college and my boyfriend has just moved to the city my college is located, got an apartment and we’re planning to live together. He is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I’m never as happy as when I’m with him. BUT, I’m terrified to introduce him to my parents... I’m so afraid that they’ll automatically not approve of him given our age gap. I’m so close to my family that it would kill me to lose them. I just don’t know how to introduce him in a way that they can see him for a man that treats their daughter well and makes her happy rather than only seeing a 17yr age gap. Anyone have some thoughts or advice for me?
