So im 40+3 today and have been told baby has had a massive growth (estimate 9lbs!) and they want him out asap. Ive been booked in to be induced tomorrow. I felt prepared for labour and really relaxed before, but now its being induced im so anxious! I just dont know what to expect, they say induced labour is more painful!?! And it can take anything from a few hours to 3 days, i know natural labours unpredictable too but ill have to stay in hospital attached to machines monitoring me and baby (ive never had to stay in hospital) Ive also read induced labours (once they get going) end up being quicker deliveries too, my biggest worry is that i send hubby home for some rest if nothings happening and things start very fast and he doesnt make it back for the birth 😫. Im so scared and excited!! By the time the weekends over ill have my little boy xxxx
