Flu like symptoms?

Question

Are flu like symptoms a sign of approaching labour in a few days? 
Extremely nauseated, over heated, cold chills. My temperature isn’t considered a fever but right on the cusp of being one. 
Any others experience this before they went into labour or am I just sick lol! 36+1 days.

I don't have the other symptoms, but I am 36 weeks, 4 days and I got so overheated last night that I couldn't stand it! I had sweat rolling off of me just trying to wash dishes. Had to turn the shower water on the coldest possible setting just to be able to stand it, and was still pouring swear after I got dressed! 
I am usually very cold, so it was very unusual for me. I laid down in the bed with 2 fans on full blast drinking cold water until I could function. No fever at all, my temperature was perfect.
You might be getting sick, or it might just be a pregnancy hormones thing. I don't think it means labor.

On Wednesday I had my normal check up and I explained to my doctor that since Sunday I’ve been having a hard time keeping food down, been extremely nauseas, extreme fatigue. I’ve also been experiencing sharp stabbing pain in my groin area. She told me it’s normal as long as I can keep fluids down and I’m most likely contracting more often. She’s going to be checking me for dilation at next appointment next week (I’ll be 36 weeks) and every week from there. Only go to ER if can’t hold down liquids. I hope this helps. Just body preparing for labor and doing its natural thing (:

I had this and a few other symptoms. Went to L&D and they said it’s normal. However I never got a fever so idk if it would have made a difference. Woke up feeling like crap again today so I’m keeping an eye on it since we haven’t had flu shots yet 😩
