Peppermints?

Can I eat peppermint candy? Like the small starlights...I ate them for two days n started feeling no so pregnant anymore so I googled it and saw people saying that you shouldn’t eat peppermints in your first trimester or the fourth! I’m in the first sooooooo yea what harm does it do?

That’s why I had originally started I haven’t had morning sickness or anything till 2 days ago I was nauseous but never threw up so I drank water and popped in a mint.
