How far is your pediatrics from your home?

We are trying to se up an appointment for when baby girl gets here, and people recommended some really good ones but they are also 20ish minutes away.  Is it worth it??

Ours is 20 minutes, same building as my OB and across the street from our hospital

Ours is about 15/20 minutes away, it’s part of the same umbrella or whatever as the clinic I go to for my ob/gyn appointments and the hospital I deliver at but it’s a stand-alone location. We’ll be debating in the near future if we want to move to the location they’re building in our town or if we want to stick with the pediatrician we’ve had since our oldest was born (4 years in January).

Mine is 30 mins if no traffic. There’s a hospital 20 mins from here so if something major happened we would head to the ER anyway.

My husband and I had this debate. Some friends recommended one that we love, which is a solid 30 minutes of highway driving on the other side of town. But we love her and she uses this baller medical texting app through which can send her pics or ask questions for her to answer on-call or tell you to make an appointment, go to the ER, etc. 
Jury is still out on whether the drive ends up bothering us, but it’s fine for now since we are both on leave.

Lol 20 minutes is nothing.  Our current pediatrician is 2 blocks away, but our last one was 45 minutes in good traffic.

Mine is also 20-30 min depending on traffic, however there’s an urgent care right around the corner and a pediatric urgent care about 10 mins away.
