tdlr; i've had extremely irregular periods for a year due to my iud. i take a prescribed estrogen pill because of vaginal issues. period was regular for two months & dissapeared again. i have regular sex & ex finishes in me. am i pregnant?

so, i'm on an iud. i've had two "pregnancy scares" in the past, but i think its because i always have signs of pregnancy (don't know why).

anyways, my period has been inconsistent (and semi nonexistent) for a little over a year. i have my iud, but the first time i started losing my period, i was extremely unhealthy. during that time was going through an anorexic relapse (my doctor was even concerned with how fast i was losing weight), alcoholism, extreme stress.

since middle school, i've always had some sort of issue that mimicked morning sickness, so i can't really have that symptom (i know its a big red flag for a lot of girls)

eventually, my doctor put me on an estrogen pill because the high progestin levels caused extreme discomfort for my vagina.

my period then went back to almost normal for a month or two and i bled regularly. my period has always lasted 3-5 days with bleeding on the heavier side. this last month, i havent bled at all & my period is extremely late.

i don't know what day i had sex that could have caused it. my ex and i have a "friends with benefits" dynamic going on right now and have sex regularly.

since we i have an iud, we don't use condoms & he normally finishes inside of me (i know its dumb, don't come after me). it makes less of a mess and is just easier for both of us.

i know iuds are 99.99% effective, but i still know its possible to get pregnant.

i also know i'm more on edge because we're broken up now.

am i being paranoid or should i take a pregnancy test?
