I’m confused??

Kelsea

So I’ve been on birth control pills for 3-4 years now. Back in February 2019, I missed 1 or 2 pills on accident and became pregnant. I ended up miscarrying in early March around 6 weeks. What was so weird about that was that the only reason I took a test was because I had a “gut feeling” even though I was still getting my period. I remembered it started out as brown colored discharge and progressed to my period but I was still pregnant and doctors told me it happens to plenty of women and that I still had good HCG levels. Like I said though, March 9th I miscarried and HCG dropped back to 0. What I’m concerned and confused about now, is that I have been taking my pills very carefully since then and haven’t missed any. I am on week 2 of my pack right now but all morning I’ve been having brown vaginal discharge. I’m really worried because of the situation last time. I read about breakthrough bleeding on the pill but that seems to only happen in the first few months of taking it and as I said, I’ve been on the pill for years now. Is it possible I could still be pregnant even though I’ve been taking them normally everyday? If not, what could be the cause of this spotting/discharge??

Also- please do not comment and tell me to see a doctor. That is not an option for me because I don’t have my own car and I am not going to concern my mother and/or my boyfriend yet again especially if it turns out to be nothing. Also not an option because the cost is ridiculous and neither I nor my mom have the money.
