Using carrier on a one week old?

Question

I’m recovering from a c section but need to go to the store so I can’t really pick up a stroller to unfold because it hurts lol. Could I use my regular carrier or swaddle carrier on her? I’m fine with just leaving her in her car seat if it’s not recommended.

If it pushes/puts pressure on your incision you should wait. It could cause pain or open up the incision. I didn’t use one for a while after my CS. Even once I hit 6 weeks PP it was uncomfortable to wear so I waited. You definitely don’t want to use the car seat if you are at home. It’s not safe. 
I am having another CS in a few months and I have been looking into portable bassinets with wheels to wheel around the house while I do things. Baby won’t use it for sleep because we use cribs but it would be for during the day around the house when I need to get something done.

If your baby is healthy and full term, you are allowed to carry her around, and the carrier doesn't hurt your incision site you should be fine. 
How old your baby is and what your doctor has allowed are important in answering that question. But the answer is probably yes.
